About Doctor
Dr. Rahul Prasad completed MS in General Surgery from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University. He then persuaded MCh in Neurosurgery at the highly esteemed GB Pant Hospital, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. After completing his neurosurgical training, he worked as a Neurosurgeon in Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi and Rajasthan Hospital, Ahmedabad.
He worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Neurosurgery in Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, USA – where he got trained in Minimally Invasive and Complex Spine Surgery as well as Gamma knife stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). After returning to India, he has worked as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Wockhardt Hospital, Goa.
He is a member of various National and International Neurosurgical Societies. He has presented and published scientific papers in various National and International conferences and journals respectively.
He has keen interest in minimally invasive and complex spine surgeries, brain and spine trauma, vascular and endovascular neurosurgical procedures, brain tumours, paediatric neurosurgical procedures, cranial endoscopic procedures, peripheral nerve surgery, epilepsy surgery, stereotactic and functional neurosurgery.
